This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Accountable for all sales operations within a designated geographical region.
• Enhance sales performance by promoting PharmaEssentia products to approved, targeted customers and distribution channels.
• Develop and implement strategic territory plans involving stakeholders in patient care to educate customers about BESREMi® and meet various needs throughout the treatment adoption process.
• Articulate the clinical profile of BESREMi®, present pivotal trial data, and address both clinical and non-clinical obstacles for key clients involved in hematology oncology patient care.
• Collaborate with cross-functional commercial partners, including market access and medical teams, to deliver comprehensive solutions for customers.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and dedication to patients by sharing knowledge across teams, investing in personal skill enhancement, and staying informed about evolving clinical and business landscapes.
• Establish, maintain, and leverage clinical and business knowledge within the hematology oncology market to formulate territory business plans that address the needs of various customers related to BESREMi®.
• Create specific account/prescriber action plans that provide a clear pathway to achieving established objectives within a set timeframe, utilizing analytics to monitor trends and track progress towards goals.
• Achieve and surpass business targets through strategic planning, collaboration with partners, and effective use of tools and resources for seamless execution of strategic initiatives.
• Become a true expert on all key topics that influence the success of the business.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.
• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.
• Proven track record in hematology oncology sales within academic and community-based institutions.
• Existing relationships with key customers are highly valued (e.g., KOLs, key account leadership).
• Experience with new product launches is essential.
• Familiarity with other commercial functions (e.g., marketing, market access, sales operations, sales training, insights/analytics, business development, etc.) is preferred.
• Experience in a start-up company environment is advantageous.
• Knowledge of specialty pharmacy is preferred.
• Proven performance history and a commitment to making a positive impact for patients.
• Ability to grasp all aspects of the sales cycle, including patient identification, establishing clinical conviction, understanding and overcoming access and reimbursement challenges, and navigating distribution.
• Creative thinking and solution-seeking abilities to access customers and support business needs.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, along with a strong leadership presence.
• Demonstrated capacity to adapt to changes in the work environment while maintaining a broad perspective amid frequent changes, delays, unexpected events, or ambiguity related to new product launches, executed with maturity and professionalism.
• Must consistently uphold high ethical standards and always prioritize the patient.
• Strong critical thinking and strategic problem-solving abilities.
• Exhibits a strong sales hunter mentality, capable of generating new leads and driving for results.
