Heavy Equipment Service Technician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Conduct comprehensive diagnostics, inspections, regular maintenance, and intricate installations on large-scale mobile industrial machinery within the assigned territory.

• Diagnose complex electrical and hydraulic systems to pinpoint issues and perform effective, high-quality repairs directly at quarries, recycling plants, and heavy commercial sites.

• Interpret schematics, blueprints, engineering diagrams, and technical bulletins to safely address mechanical challenges.

• Create and submit precise service, maintenance, and warranty documentation promptly and accurately.

• Rigorously follow all company policies, occupational health and safety standards, and site-specific procedures.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of practical technical experience with heavy machinery.

• Open to unlicensed mechanical professionals; a formal provincial ticket or Red Seal certification is not necessary.

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot heavy-duty hydraulic and electrical systems.

• Proficiency in reading complex technical drawings and schematics is essential.

• Possession of a valid Class G driver’s license with a clean driving record (abstract required).

• Strong digital skills for submitting service reports and accessing technical information.

• Must have a personal set of standard hand tools.
