This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Deliver expertise and experience in the function, design, construction, and testing of the Epic product for the assigned Epic module pertaining to Epic Healthy Planet.
• Collaborate with end users to timely and professionally design and build the Epic system, implementing corrective configurations or enhancements as needed.
• Lead initiatives involving medium to large complexity Epic software upgrades or enhancements to workflows, encompassing the design, construction, and testing phases.
• Engage in design and validation sessions, ensuring that proper documentation, follow-up, and issue escalation are conducted.
• Provide both technical and clinical consultation, including application configuration. Analyze system needs to formulate recommendations for clients.
• Develop, support, and maintain all necessary system design and build documentation along with other system-related documents.
• Conduct daily monitoring of applications that are in production use.
• Participate actively in all stages of the testing lifecycle, performing unit, system, and integrated testing tasks and activities for Epic workflows.
• Offer support for application incidents reported through the help desk, including 24/7 on-call coverage as required.
• Acquire and maintain comprehensive knowledge of software functionality; utilize knowledge of operational workflows to be executed.
• Conduct thorough analyses of workflows, data collection processes, report details, and other technical challenges associated with Epic software.
• Collaborate with trainers to create and sustain application-specific training curriculum and materials.
• Convert business requirements into functional specifications and manage changes to these specifications; prioritize, coordinate, and implement system updates and requested changes; review and test each new release; troubleshoot problems and inquiries from end users.
• Comply with organizational standards for system configuration and change control.
• Build robust relationships with end user communities, customers, and business partners.
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders from initial requirements gathering to final implementation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, escalating more complex problems as necessary.
• Over 5 years of experience with Epic applications.
• Active and current Epic certification in Healthy Planet.
• Must have completed current New Version Training (NVT) and Continued Epic Education (CEE) to maintain certifications, proficiencies, and badges.
