This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• This is a customer-facing sales position focused on securing new business.
• Operates with a degree of autonomy while generally adhering to established sales practices and procedures.
• The role undergoes regular evaluation of sales performance.
• Responsible for achieving annual sales and revenue targets outlined in the Operating Plan for the designated territory.
• Accountable for maintaining and expanding the service business within the territory and entering new accounts by utilizing the full service portfolio, including multivendor solutions, technology offerings, advanced services, and equipment refresh initiatives.
• Contribute to pricing strategies for deals and ensure pricing adherence for segment opportunities.
• Manage the existing customer base and oversee lifecycle management.
• Build, leverage, and nurture long-term relationships with customers, including "C" level and Senior VP executives, while identifying and acting on opportunities that promptly address customer needs.
• Monitor and relay market trends from the field, including competitor insights, and develop effective counterstrategies.
• Capable of articulating and discussing technological and clinical benefits in terms relevant to customers.
• Distinguish the assigned product offerings throughout the sales process, effectively utilizing GE resources and approved product marketing materials to assist customers during their decision-making journey.
• Maintain current and comprehensive knowledge of customer products and services.
• Seek out new customers and business opportunities in addition to managing and expanding the existing client portfolio.
• Collaborate with equipment and sales leaders in the market to drive overall success for the GE Healthcare business.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of relevant experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED with 7 years of relevant experience; OR completion of GE HealthCare broader leadership programs.
• Must reside in and be willing to travel within the territory (Northern California, Bay Area).
• Expected travel of 40-50+% (2 - 3 days per week, including overnight stays as needed) across various modes of transportation (car, air, train, etc.).
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to distill complex issues into simple, clear messages.
• Excellent negotiation and closing capabilities.
• Proven presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all organizational levels and collaborate effectively within a team.
• Capable of balancing in-person customer engagement with the administrative demands of the role, delegating tasks and holding others accountable to ensure efficiency.
• Demonstrated experience using Salesforce or other CRM tools to effectively manage the territory.
