
Healthcare Manager – Learning, Epic Cadence/Prelude

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee a diverse team of staff members throughout their employment journey, including recruitment, training and development, rewards and recognition, as well as performance coaching and management.
• Offer coaching and foster continuous learning for employees on job-related topics.
• Manage and coordinate team objectives, processes, resources, tasks, and projects; organize team activities and monitor productivity and schedules to assess progress against established goals and initiatives.
• Ensure that objectives align with OCHIN's strategic vision, and that projects and tactics are consistent with organizational goals.
• Optimize, uphold, and guarantee that staff comply with standards, including corporate policies, team standard operating procedures, and service level agreements with our members, while providing a clear process for consistent delivery of project status reports.
• Monitor and analyze data for risks and issues, proposing preventive and mitigation measures while ensuring that escalation processes are adhered to when deadlines or service level agreements are at risk.
• Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with members and staff across all organizational levels, skillfully navigating discussions with diverse viewpoints while fostering trust and respect.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders throughout the organization to enhance work processes, utilizing key performance indicators and survey data to drive overall organizational success.
• Communicate team decisions, outcomes, achievements, performance insights, learnings, best practices, and regulatory findings to ensure comprehension and delivery of professional education.
• Serve as an escalation point for after-hours support to other internal departments.
• Design, implement, support, and continually enhance OCHIN's Learning Programs through evaluation, quality and process enhancement, training, coaching, tracking, dissemination, publications, and visual management.
• Contribute to the development and fulfillment of statements of work for learning and stabilization & maintenance services, including but not limited to training, facilitated improvement sessions, design and discovery sessions, workforce augmentation, coordination of virtual/onsite resources, and overall success of Learning.
• Travel onsite to members to effectively support them, manage staff, and provide feedback and improvement suggestions for direct support of our members.
• A minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in the healthcare sector.
• At least 6 years of experience in Cadence/Prelude Epic certification or proficiency in Cadence and/or Prelude is preferred.
• A minimum of five (5) years in supervisory roles or leadership positions within healthcare operational teams is highly preferred.
• Over 5 years of direct experience in learning or training is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, healthcare, health informatics, or a related field, or equivalent experience; a master’s degree is preferred.
• A strong commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to deliver it effectively in all circumstances.
• Robust leadership skills that align with the organization’s needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet or a similar project management tool is preferred.
• Experience in training and curriculum design.
• Executive-level consulting/advisory experience is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% for OCHIN organizational events or to provide onsite member services.
