Healthcare Engagement Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Conduct outbound calls to connect with patients from practices and health systems, discussing the advantages of Salvo’s program and technology-driven services.

• Enroll patients into Salvo’s program and arrange an initial virtual nurse visit to officially onboard them to Salvo’s comprehensive GI care service.

• Utilize established call scripts and FAQs to engage with patients and provide education, applying judgment and written protocols to address inquiries and concerns.

• Help patients comprehend the program's costs, including addressing queries to ensure they are fully informed about their insurance coverage and financial obligations.

• Maintain the highest standards of customer service in every interaction and provide quality follow-up when responding to inbound calls and voicemails.

• Responsible for achieving daily, weekly, monthly, or annual key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Position operates Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an outbound call center or direct sales role, with a proven track record of sales success.

• Preferred experience in healthcare and/or functional medicine.

• Ability to conduct phone conversations while seamlessly navigating computer tools.

• Capability to remain seated at a workstation for extended periods while using a computer and headset to interact with patients.

• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

• Experience and comfort in handling confidential information.

• Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

• Goal-oriented with a focus on meeting sales targets.

• Prior experience working remotely is preferred.

• Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.

• Must possess a wired, high-speed internet connection.
