Healthcare Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the lead architect and subject matter expert for Metabase, which is our primary business intelligence tool, while developing and managing intricate dashboards to monitor key performance indicators.

• Evaluate and interpret specialized healthcare data, emphasizing clinical and financial healthcare reporting, including claims data, denial rates, therapist utilization, and clinical outcomes.

• Conduct thorough data validation to guarantee data integrity and accuracy across all internal and external reporting.

• Collaborate directly with various departments to produce recurring dashboards that track the organization's progress toward strategic goals and financial key performance indicators.

• Aggregate data from diverse sources (CRM, HelpDesk, Task Management, Pendo) to create comprehensive performance dashboards for Customer Success and other service leadership teams.

• Serve as the technical data subject matter expert during sales cycles for the Prompt BI platform, delivering high-level technical demonstrations, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to secure deals.

• Provide expert-level support to enterprise, mid-market, and small-market clients by offering guidance, training, and customized reporting solutions on the Prompt BI platform.

• Establish and nurture strong, consultative relationships with client leadership, translating their clinical and financial business requirements into technical data solutions.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline.

• 3–5+ years of demonstrated experience as a Data Analyst, Business Intelligence Analyst, or Solutions Analyst within the healthcare software or services sector.

• In-depth knowledge of the healthcare industry, particularly regarding Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), outpatient rehabilitation, and healthcare regulations and standards (such as HIPAA).

• Advanced proficiency in data visualization and business intelligence tools.

• High-level expertise in SQL for complex data querying, reporting, and data manipulation.

• Strong familiarity with Excel and related BI/data tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen eye for detail.

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, capable of translating complex data into clear, actionable business narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Proven track record in a customer-facing, solutions-oriented, or pre-sales role.

• Ability to comprehend client needs and provide customized, data-driven solutions.

• Capacity to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment while juggling multiple priorities simultaneously.
