This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as the primary leader overseeing the overall performance of Johnson Control’s Federal projects that involve multiple medical facilities and hospitals across various locations in South Korea, Japan, and Guam, typically with a scope of $50M or more.
• Facilitate the program development process, create the management plan, monitor progress against this plan, and collaborate with associated project delivery teams.
• Generate cost estimates.
• Present updates on current and projected performance to Executive Management.
• Assess and review overall subcontracting strategies.
• Oversee subcontractor selection, procurement, and execution processes.
• Maintain relationships with the Principals of major subcontractors.
• Oversee project staffing responsibilities.
• Manage monthly performance evaluations of strategic programs and provide reports to management.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of assigned projects through operational and financial systems.
• Guarantee that project document controls comply with contract requirements.
• Oversee overall program asset management, which includes collections, cost control, progress billings, and payables.
• Extensive experience in the construction and renovation of healthcare facilities, demonstrating the ability to manage all phases of healthcare construction.
• Preferred 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven advanced skills in Construction/Project Management with the ability to handle multiple large projects of $50M or more, including experience managing a diverse range of simultaneous challenges that often require knowledge across various disciplines.
• High-level competencies in Construction Management processes.
• Established track record of managing very large and complex projects within time constraints and budgetary limits.
• Capability to manage, coordinate, and supervise the construction process from conceptual development through to construction completion.
• Proficient in executing complex renovation and upgrade projects within operational healthcare environments.
• Strong understanding of contract language and project accounting.
• Excellent presentation skills with proficiency in addressing large audiences.
• Ability to lead and direct diverse teams effectively.
• Strong personal computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and a basic Windows environment.
• Familiarity with standard construction industry software, including scheduling tools like Primavera P6 and MS Project, and competency in utilizing Construction/Project Management Software (Procore preferred).
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Capability to obtain and maintain the required government security clearance to meet site requirements, which includes background and character checks, criminal history, employment verification, and credit checks.

• Travel requirement: Approximately 50% (if not residing in Japan or South Korea).
