This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Meet or surpass production targets for written policy and premium within your designated region.
• Establish and enhance partnerships with insurance agencies through face-to-face meetings, phone outreach, and technology-driven engagement.
• Present the PMC Healthcare value proposition while promoting high-quality healthcare submission volume.
• Cross-sell products and services across the wider One80 team.
• Collaborate with internal colleagues to expand the healthcare submission pipeline and achieve key performance metrics.
• Cultivate strong relationships with carrier underwriting teams to accurately evaluate risk and maintain a profitable portfolio.
• Develop and implement strategic business plans aimed at acquiring new agency partners and strengthening existing relationships.
• Work together with Healthcare Practice Leaders, internal stakeholders, and regional leadership to facilitate agency growth and development.
• Contribute to overall revenue growth through additional initiatives and business priorities as necessary.
• Active P&C license or the ability to obtain one within 120 days.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in workers compensation within an agency, carrier, or wholesaler environment, with a preference for 5+ years.
• Experience in underwriting healthcare or commercial risks, including evaluating exposure, analyzing loss history, pricing policies, and formulating risk management strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a submission or sales pipeline with meticulous attention to detail.
• Experience overseeing a book of business within underwriting parameters.
• Strong relationship-building capabilities with the capacity to collaborate across internal teams, carrier partners, and agency networks.
• Proficiency in developing and executing strategic business plans to drive growth.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical abilities with the capability to interpret business and performance reports.
• Familiarity with assessing and fulfilling the complete insurance needs of retail businesses.
• Experience in agency management and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly within an assigned region.
• In addition to the pay range, this position is also eligible for commission.
