This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Develop the strategic account plan across the enterprise in collaboration with account team partners and oversee its execution.
• Manage account operations alongside Market Access and Business Unit partners.
• Identify avenues for enhancing access and stimulate enterprise-level demand from the top down.
• Ensure the integration and adherence to on-label access within account-level decision-making tools, such as EMRs, formularies, pathways, and order sets.
• Maintain a solid understanding of the enterprise portfolio and the competitive landscape.
• Uphold compliance with GSK policies and risk management frameworks.
• Offer insights and recommendations to enhance the implementation of the strategic account plan.
• Track and assess market trends and competitive actions.
• Collect account insights and communicate information to the wider organization.
• Work with Marketing on pivotal initiatives and implement marketing strategies across GSK’s product range.
• Set and track key performance indicators for relationship health and system-of-care engagement.
• Engage in regular business reviews.
• Forge and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including service line and pharmacy leaders within Organized Provider accounts.
• A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) is required.
• A minimum of 5 years of proven health system experience in market access and/or account management within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
• A valid driver’s license is necessary.
• Willingness to travel 50–60% of the time.
• Knowledge of regional payers, large contracted customers, mid-sized PBMs, and coalitions.
• Strong financial acumen.
• Experience in a highly matrixed environment, effectively influencing multiple stakeholder groups with an enterprise perspective.
• High learning agility and adaptability to changes in product offerings.
• Proven self-starter with a track record of meeting objectives.
• Demonstrated account selling capabilities and the ability to expand business through strategic planning and execution.
• Excellent communication and strong presentation skills.
• Capability to apply Compliance Policies and Procedures in dynamic and unstructured environments.
• Familiarity with patient privacy regulations, including HIPAA and analogous state laws.
• Proficient in presentation and negotiation techniques.
• Skills in account management, cross-functional collaboration, data analysis, digital fluency, omnichannel strategies, and scientific literacy.
