Health & Safety Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with our Health & Safety Manager and external partners specializing in occupational safety and fire protection, aiding in the enhancement of our Health & Safety standards throughout our expanding international hotel portfolio.

• Assist in performing hazard assessments and risk evaluations, and facilitate the implementation of resultant measures within our hotels.

• Organize and manage training sessions and safety briefings for staff members.

• Develop and revise safety documentation and emergency plans.

• Examine inspection reports pertaining to occupational and fire safety, engage with the hotels, and follow up on agreed-upon actions.

• Evaluate accident reports and formulate preventive strategies.

• Oversee the execution of evacuation drills and other emergency training sessions in collaboration with external partners.

• Aid the Health & Safety Manager in planning and executing hotel openings and various Health & Safety projects, taking charge of specified subprojects.

• You possess initial professional experience in occupational safety and/or fire protection.

• You have a comprehensive understanding of the pertinent legal requirements and standards related to occupational safety and fire protection.

• You are highly organized, with a structured approach to your work being one of your key strengths.

• You are committed to ongoing professional development in the fields of occupational and fire safety.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with a professional demeanor and integrity, come naturally to you.

• You have excellent proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken.
