Health Program Training and Technical Assistance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Overseeing the Training and Technical Assistance (TA) initiatives for rural health providers across Florida.

• Executing assignments related to a training and technical assistance project under the supervision of senior management.

• Offering guidance and support to junior team members.

• Responsible for triaging and coordinating individualized training and technical assistance, along with participating in universal technical assistance activities.

• Collaborating directly with health providers, facilitating learning collaboratives, assigning and managing a team of health delivery subject matter experts, administering training via technology platforms, and assisting data and evaluation teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in public health, public policy, behavioral/social sciences, or a related field is required.

• At least 5 years of experience in designing, coordinating, delivering, and supporting capacity building; health delivery or health system transformation; applying instructional design, human-centered design, and adult learning principles to TTA design and/or delivery; facilitating webinars through online communication platforms; managing multiple TA assignments and monitoring SMEs; and the ability to think analytically, clearly define and document tasks, and efficiently conceptualize and plan work.

• Experience with training and technical assistance technologies is preferred (such as tracking systems, communication systems, webinar software, etc.).

• The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting or implementing federal health transformation initiatives, including work with CMS or HRSA-funded projects or health system projects.
