Health IT Project Manager – I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Supervise project management efforts for IT and health service initiatives, ensuring adherence to federal and agency regulations.

• Create and uphold project timelines, budgets, and documentation.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to facilitate medical care delivery and the development of program initiatives.

• Evaluate project performance, identify potential risks, and propose and execute mitigation strategies.

• Assist in responding to congressional inquiries and other significant communications.

• Contribute to process enhancement and policy formulation.

• Keep project records and guarantee precise reporting.

• Work with stakeholders to ensure that project goals align with the objectives of the organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in project management is essential.

• Proven expertise in managing enterprise Health IT programs that include multiple interconnected projects across clinical, technical, and operational areas.

• Advanced understanding of program governance frameworks, including executive steering committees, decision-making forums, escalation pathways, and performance reporting.

• Demonstrated capability in developing and managing integrated program schedules, dependencies, cross-unit collaboration, and engagement with external stakeholders.

• Skills in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating program-level risks, such as resource limitations, integration dependencies, and operational implications.

• Experience in creating executive-level presentations, decision memos, and status updates customized for senior leadership audiences.

• Proven ability to align program results with organizational strategy, regulatory obligations, and mission priorities.

• Capacity to function effectively in environments with changing requirements and shifting priorities.

• Ability to secure and maintain a DHS/ICE fitness determination (public trust) and sign a DHS Non-Disclosure Agreement.

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
