This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Facilitate the gathering and analysis of requirements for clinical informatics software and project initiatives.
• Execute information modeling and document processes for systems that capture or standardize health and clinical data.
• Act as a liaison between clinical stakeholders and technical teams to convert operational needs into formalized requirements.
• Identify, assess, and address issues pertaining to clinical workflows, system configuration, safety, interoperability, and data quality related to Oracle Health.
• Assist in user acceptance testing by developing test artifacts and documenting defects.
• Examine and rectify data discrepancies or integrity issues that impact reporting and patient safety.
• Support the reporting and analytics needs, including the creation of metrics and validation of reports for PGL Operations.
• Evaluate, enhance, and sustain clinical decision support content and updates to terminology.
• Create and maintain documentation and artifacts that support informatics deliverables.
• Monitor and resolve user-reported issues and New Service Requests via the Tiered Hub process.
• A bachelor's degree is mandatory; alternatively, six additional years of specialized experience may be considered for candidates without a college education.
• A minimum of four years of professional experience, including at least three years of specialized experience, is required.
• Proven specialized experience in requirements elicitation, analysis, user acceptance testing, and documentation or artifact development for health, clinical, therapeutic discovery, medical research, or life sciences data systems.
• Capability to work autonomously or under minimal supervision.
• Experience in information modeling and process documentation is essential.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
• Expert-level proficiency in SharePoint Online, Office 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI is required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Low/NACI background investigation is crucial.
• Preferred: Experience with Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium in a clinical or analyst role.
• Preferred: Experience in supporting VHA or other federal health informatics initiatives.
• Preferred: Familiarity with clinical decision support, terminology management, or interoperability standards.
• Preferred: A clinical background or a certification in clinical informatics.
