This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

• Process and manage requests for patient health information in compliance with Company and Facility policies and procedures.

• Uphold confidentiality and security for all privileged information.

• Maintain proficiency in Company and facility software applications.

• Follow the Company's and Customer facilities' Code of Conduct and policies.

• Notify the manager of any work, site challenges, or variations in workload.

• Support additional tasks or responsibilities as necessary or required.

• Consistently apply medical privacy regulations to prevent unauthorized disclosures.

• Oversee the management of patient health records.

• Ensure the protection of patient records and adherence to HIPAA standards.

• Prepare new patient charts by collecting documents and information from both paper and electronic health records.

• Verify that medical records are assembled correctly, accurately, and completely.

• Generate digital images of paperwork for storage in the electronic medical record system.

• Respond to requests for patient records from both internal and external sources, retrieving and transmitting them as necessary.

• Handle inbound and outbound calls.

• Assist with patient walk-ins as needed.

• Support administrative tasks, including managing faxes, opening mail, and performing data entry.

• Meet productivity expectations as specified at the site.

• May coordinate pick-up schedules.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

• Minimum age of 18 years

• Capability to commute between locations as necessary

• Willingness to work overtime during peak seasons if required

• Basic proficiency in computer skills

• Strong professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
