Health Informatics Manager – Training

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Implements management and health informatics principles to coordinate all health informatics activities for a designated team.

• Partners with Health Informatics, Clinical, and Operational leadership to direct and facilitate the standardization and adoption of evidence-based processes and content across the care continuum.

• Shares insights and offers recommendations to Health Informatics leadership to ensure effective delivery for healthcare transformation initiatives.

• Identifies, defines, and resolves complex issues that influence the management and direction of the organization.

• Accountable for measuring and reporting on KPIs/metrics and the delivery of value.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree focused on Health Informatics or a related field is required.

• A minimum of five (5) years of extensive work experience, including leadership roles in health informatics as well as experience within a multi-hospital system.

• Demonstrated ability to be an effective consensus builder, successfully operating in a collaborative and shared leadership environment.

• Certification from a recognized national informatics certifying body is preferred.

• Fellowship, academic courses, or other formal training in Health Informatics is preferred.

• A Master’s Degree in Informatics or a related field is preferred.
