
Health Care Customer Service Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
β’ Managing both inbound and outbound calls in a high-tech setting, addressing general inquiries related to insurance, financial assistance, and payment processing.
β’ Initiating and responding to calls on behalf of the client to resolve billing and payment concerns, utilizing established work queues and call pools as necessary.
β’ Providing thorough and professional responses to information requests from patients/account holders.
β’ Taking action to secure payments or establish payment arrangements on behalf of the client when appropriate.
β’ Adhering to client-specific protocols and policies during the execution of responsibilities.
β’ Investigating and addressing client inquiries as required.
β’ Recording and monitoring payment arrangements.
β’ Complying with all relevant laws, including FDCPA, FCRA, and HIPAA.
β’ A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Call Center or Customer Service role where interaction with the public was a daily responsibility.
β’ Preferred knowledge/experience in medical terminology, patient billing, healthcare insurance, and/or healthcare administration.
β’ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
β’ Strong organizational skills, with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
β’ Demonstrated flexibility in scheduling and assignments, including regular evening and Saturday work as required by the business.
β’ Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
β’ Bilingual candidates will offer additional support for bilingual calls.
