Health and Safety Assessor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Ensure adherence to all SafeContractor processes and procedures relevant to this position.

• Evaluate contractor applications and the accompanying documentation.

• Support the creation, generation, and delivery of essential information to assist contractors in obtaining accreditation.

• Gather, record, and manage contractor data in accordance with SafeContractor protocols for evidence management.

• Compile and supply information necessary for the generation of management information reports.

• Engage with contractors through telephone and email, fostering a positive and professional rapport as needed.

• Conduct precise and timely evaluations to fulfill quarterly quality standards established by the Accreditation Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completion of post-secondary education is mandatory - Occupational health and safety education (Degree, Diploma, Certificate, etc.).

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an Occupational Health and Safety role, ideally with relevant field experience or knowledge.

• Proficiency in assessing and evaluating safety management systems and compliance standards.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and Microsoft Dynamics is essential.
