Health and Physical Education Teacher – Adjunct

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Oversee instructional programs specific to various subjects

• Track progress and assess student work

• Facilitate online instructional and tutorial sessions

• Offer academic support and guidance to students

• Serve as the subject-matter expert for a group of middle and high school students

• Engage in communication with parents, learning coaches, and students

• Evaluate and score assessments and projects in the relevant subject area

• Conduct online tutoring and instructional sessions for students

• Acquire in-depth knowledge of the curriculum for which you are responsible

• Assist struggling students by providing alternative strategies and additional support

• Attend all mandatory training sessions throughout the year

• Perform other duties as needed.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must be highly qualified and certified to teach Health and Physical Education in Minnesota, relevant to the grade level and subject responsibilities

• Proficient technology skills, particularly in Microsoft OS and MS Office

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

• A customer-focused mindset

• High level of adaptability

• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• History of being a collaborative team player

• Experience with online instruction is advantageous

• Must possess a computer with high-speed Internet access

• Required to maintain posted office hours for at least 3 hours per week on two distinct weekdays within the timeframe of 9 am to 5 pm

• Complete necessary orientation and training programs at the start of the school year.

• May need to attend training and/or meetings at the school office throughout the academic year (frequency dependent on distance to the office)

• Adhere to all conditions outlined in the Connections Academy Work At-Home Policy.
