Head of Wildfire Affairs

📋 Description

• Assist in addressing the escalating wildfire crisis through AI and IoT technologies.

• Act as Pano AI’s senior representative within the wildfire and emergency management sectors.

• Establish and strengthen relationships with fire agency leaders, chiefs, and key decision-makers.

• Advocate for Pano’s mission within the fire community.

• Create and oversee a public engagement program for Pano users.

• Develop and sustain strategic partnerships with fire agencies.

• Aid in lobbying activities, legislative testimonies, and engagement with policymakers.

• Function as an internal expert on fire agency operations, culture, and decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of senior-level experience in fire service, wildfire response, or emergency management.

• A recognized national or strong regional reputation with an active network within the fire and emergency management community.

• Proven track record of building partnerships, coalitions, and advocacy initiatives.

• An effective communicator and public speaker, adept at representing an organization at senior levels.

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic startup environment, collaborating across technical, policy, and operational teams.

• Willingness to travel frequently throughout the U.S.
