Head of Web and Organic Growth

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• In the role of Head of Web and Organic Growth, you will manage our digital entry point, which includes the homepage, vertical landing pages, our blog, and lead magnets.

• You will establish the strategy to attract potential clients to Atticus.com through organic and AI search channels.

• You will determine the content they engage with, what they find credible, and how they transition from learning about Atticus to discussions with our client advocates.

• You will draft briefs that guide our blog content and the specifications that enhance our SEO and GEO visibility.

• Collaborating closely with our editorial team, you will oversee the commissioning of content that not only ranks well but also genuinely assists those in need.

• Your role, alongside our Growth Marketing and Product teams, is to ensure we remain valuable to users throughout their journey, making Atticus the clear choice when they're ready.

• As we venture into new verticals, you will collaborate with our vertical GMs and Growth Product team to refine our core site experience to cater to each of our vertical audiences.

⛳️ Requirements

• You have 6-9 years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership position managing a website's P&L or a similar responsibility.

• You have a proven track record of success in SEO and content-driven growth, preferably within a DTC brand that has a lengthy consideration cycle (health, wellness, fintech, education, legal services). If you can show us organic traffic trends that consistently rise and explain the reasons behind them, we would love to speak with you.

• You possess strong conversion skills. You have experience A/B testing landing pages, reconstructing funnels, and hold solid views on what factors contribute to a vertical landing page's success. You can substantiate those views with data.

• You are well-versed in GEO/AEO. As search evolves rapidly, you are already contemplating AI Overviews, LLM citations, and what discovery will entail in 2027.

• You are an accomplished writer. While you may not write every article, the quality of your briefs will be crucial in ensuring the success of our content. They need to be outstanding.

• You are comfortable working in partnership with lifecycle teams. This position is not isolated; the most effective work arises at the intersection of digital and lifecycle, and you should find that exciting.

• You have instincts that are native to AI. You should feel that this role is significantly enhanced by the AI tools available today compared to two years ago.
