This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop the talent operations function for the AI safety ecosystem, focusing on placing early-career professionals in impactful roles and linking talent pipelines across organizations.
• Oversee Kairos’s hiring pipeline from start to finish while creating and managing processes for new positions.
• Identify, assess, and finalize candidates while managing the screening, trial tasks, references, and offer processes.
• Establish sustainable hiring infrastructure by creating systems, templates, and rubrics for effective hiring rounds.
• Cultivate relationships with hiring organizations within the AI safety and policy ecosystem.
• Actively match early-career individuals from SPAR, Pathfinder, GCP, and the wider network to available roles.
• Monitor placement outcomes and enhance the matching process over time.
• Onboard partner organizations and ensure the maintenance of data quality within the talent database.
• This position necessitates a combination of three elements: insight into people (understanding who is promising, who is ready, and where they fit best), relationship-building skills (being someone that hiring organizations and candidates genuinely want to collaborate with), and a systems-oriented mindset (transforming sound judgment into scalable infrastructure).
• Previous experience in talent placement, recruiting, or headhunting within AI safety or related fields is highly regarded.
• Experience with hiring, selection, or other processes involving critical decisions about personnel is beneficial.
• Established connections with organizations in the AI safety ecosystem are advantageous.
