Head of SEO, Senior SEO Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Create an SEO roadmap that clearly prioritizes the most critical actions.

• Develop a detailed keyword strategy and intent mapping to understand and address search intent.

• Construct a long-term content strategy for new pages, blog articles, and topic clusters.

• Perform on-page optimization tasks.

• Prepare SEO briefs for web designers to either create or specifically optimize SEO-focused pages.

• Revise meta titles, meta descriptions, alt texts, and heading structures.

• Write and enhance blog posts, including internal linking and overall content organization.

• Ensure that all content is designed to be both search-engine and user-friendly.

• Develop and execute a link-building strategy, which may include backlinks, guest posts, PR articles, and forum contributions.

• Write public relations and/or guest articles.

• Monitor toxic links and create disavow files if required (only as necessary).

• Analyze and enhance Core Web Vitals.

• Implement structured data.

• Address errors such as 5xx/4xx issues and duplicate content.

• Collaborate with the web development team for technical execution.

• Over 3 years of practical SEO experience, encompassing both on-page and off-page optimization.

• Demonstrated success in enhancing search rankings.

• Comprehensive understanding of keyword research, content strategy, and both on-page and off-page optimization techniques.

• Proficient in using major SEO tools.

• Experience in SEO copywriting, ideally with an emphasis on conversions.

• Strong execution skills characterized by speed, accuracy, and independence.

• German language proficiency at a native level.

• Business-level proficiency in English.
