This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• You will be accountable for the complete sales success, which includes team leadership, process management, pipeline and forecasting, go-to-market strategies, and fostering a sustainable closing culture for a diverse customer base that spans from small businesses to large brands.
• Leadership, coaching, and culture: you will lead and nurture the sales team through coaching and mentoring, setting clear goals, providing feedback, and enabling their growth.
• Foster a closing culture that is pragmatic, accountable, and performance-driven, steering clear of any “sales theater.”
• Adapt roles, responsibilities, and, if needed, team structure, including hiring and onboarding processes.
• Formulate and execute the sales strategy to further scale PAQATO within the SaaS industry.
• Engage in strategic new business acquisition with a hands-on approach.
• Take ownership of active outbound new business acquisition (cold outreach): identify target accounts, establish outreach sequences, and perform regular outbound calls to arrange meetings and generate pipeline.
• Manage the entire sales funnel, ensuring pipeline transparency, forecast accuracy, and revenue projections.
• Establish and expand KPI-driven work practices, focusing on metrics such as conversion rates, cycle times, win rates, and pipeline coverage.
• Collaborate closely with Customer Success to enhance retention, cross-sell, and upsell strategies.
• Continuously assess the market and competitors to discover new strategies and effectively position PAQATO.
• Work in close partnership with Marketing to boost revenue by refining the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), messaging, and providing feedback on the sales funnel.
• Several years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within SaaS or closely related to e-commerce.
• Proven leadership experience in team building and development, achieving targets, and coaching personnel.
• Strong hands-on approach with a passion for building and enhancing organizational structures.
• Proficient in pipeline management, forecasting, KPIs, and data-driven decision-making.
• Excellent communication skills, both internally and externally, along with strong negotiation and closing abilities.
• Extensive experience in utilizing AI within sales and marketing contexts.
• Plus: an established network in the e-commerce and SaaS sectors.
