This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North America.
• Join Remote as the Head of Sales - AMER, where you will lead and expand a high-performing Sales team throughout the AMER region.
• You'll play a crucial role in shaping the vision and strategy for the team while enhancing and optimizing Remote's Sales operations.
• As part of the Sales leadership team, you'll have the chance to influence the future of work and make a significant impact in the HR tech industry, contributing to Remote's success as the leading HR platform for global enterprises.
• Profound knowledge of the HR Tech and HR Solutions sector, complemented by extensive B2B sales experience.
• Considerable experience in leading and inspiring layered management teams.
• Proven track record in Sales Leadership, with a strong emphasis on people development, leadership, and coaching within a high-growth startup environment.
• Demonstrated success in building Sales teams in the AMER region, with a deep understanding of the unique cultural nuances involved in selling within this market.
• An innovative mindset — proactively identifies challenges and offers potential solutions to the VP/C-suite.
• Capability to formulate and implement a business plan to meet revenue targets, establish growth strategies, and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve company objectives.
• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English.
• Experience with remote work is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Willingness to engage directly in high-stakes discovery, demo, and closing calls, demonstrating leadership by example rather than relying solely on metrics.
• Ability to quickly gain expertise in our Payroll and HR Tech suite.
• Comfortable with the detailed aspects of sales operations, including territory mapping and thorough pipeline management and hygiene.
• Low Ego, High Impact: No task is too small; you can draft a follow-up email for a junior representative just as easily as you can present a three-year growth strategy to the C-suite.
