This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and execute the operational strategy for the retirement line of business, emphasizing efficiency and enhancing the experience for customers, agents, and advisors.
• Lead the comprehensive execution of operational functions that align with the goals of the Retirement organization.
• Provide guidance and oversight to ensure effective and profitable operations within the Retirement sector.
• Formulate both short-term and long-term organizational objectives and strategies, confirming that business processes and operational controls are established.
• Identify potential outsourcing strategies and collaborate with key leaders to implement them.
• Work closely with leadership from Distribution, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Technology, and Legal departments.
• Assess Retirement processes and drive improvements in efficiency and performance.
• Report on operating results and track progress towards achieving organizational goals.
• Ensure that tools, resources, and processes are in place for effective performance monitoring, tracking, and reporting.
• Build and manage high-performing, diverse teams.
• Promote continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
• Oversee the budget for the Operations organization.
• Foster employee engagement and well-being through collaboration, innovation, transparency, inclusion, and trust.
• Report directly to the Chief Operations Officer.
• A minimum of 12 years of progressive leadership experience within the financial services or insurance industry, particularly in an Operations role.
• Extensive knowledge of the Retirement business, including products and operational processes.
• Strong business acumen to effectively execute strategic plans and manage budget allocations.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills to influence decisions at the executive level.
• Willingness to travel moderately, between 10% to 25% of the time.
