This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Lead a Quality team of approximately 8–10 employees within a specific indication, providing both functional and disciplinary guidance.
• Assume overall responsibility for all quality activities associated with products throughout their entire lifecycle.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive quality strategy for the designated portfolio, ensuring effective integration into operational frameworks.
• Actively participate in product strategy from a quality standpoint, collaborating with relevant interface functions.
• Safeguard patient safety and ensure regulatory compliance while adhering to national and international standards.
• Oversee quality risk management, which includes the identification, assessment, and control of quality-related risks.
• Establish suitable measures for the early detection of errors and initiate sustainable improvement actions.
• Act as the primary contact for quality-related escalations within the portfolio and coordinate cross-functional resolution processes.
• Engage and manage relevant internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient resolution of quality-critical issues.
• Monitor quality-related KPIs and determine appropriate actions for continuous enhancement of product and process quality.
• A university degree in a natural science (e.g., Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology) or an equivalent qualification.
• Several years of experience in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical industry, preferably with responsibilities for product-related quality activities.
• Proven experience in both functional and disciplinary team leadership, along with managing complex quality processes.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and GMP guidelines within an international context.
• Experience in quality risk management and the ability to assess and prioritize quality-related issues throughout the product lifecycle.
• Strong strategic thinking skills with the capacity to proactively incorporate quality considerations into product and portfolio decisions.
• Proficient in managing escalation situations, with excellent coordination and decision-making capabilities.
• A structured, solution-oriented, and responsible working style, demonstrating a high level of execution capability.
• Excellent communication skills in German (minimum C1) and English, along with experience working with international interfaces.
