This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Building a publishing direction from scratch as the Directly Responsible Individual (DRI)

• Developing strategy, deal flow, deal economics, and team structure

• Personal sourcing of studios, managing the funnel, negotiations, and execution of initial agreements

• Structuring revenue share, calculating unit economics, and forecasting ROI in collaboration with analytics

• Defining criteria for title selection and managing the greenlight process: testing → soft launch → scaling

• Overseeing published titles in collaboration with the Producer: roadmaps, LiveOps, and studio interactions

• Hiring a Publishing Producer and further developing the team

• Reporting to the Co-CEO during the launch phase

• Achieving objectives for the first 12 months: securing a portfolio of studios, validating and scaling 2-3 titles, establishing a functional greenlight process, and forming a core team

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in building a publishing function from the ground up or in an early-stage environment—not managing an existing setup

• Personal network of studios and a reputable standing in the market

• Hands-on experience in deal-making: term sheets, revenue share structures, negotiations with studio founders

• Proficient understanding of publishing economics: eROAS, payback, cohort models—capable of independent calculations

• Experience in casual/mid-core on GP/iOS

• English proficiency at B2 level

• Preferred: Experience with publishing platforms or SDK products

• Preferred: Experience in hiring and team development

• Preferred: Understanding of alternative monetization models and subscription-based revenue
