Head of Product / Senior Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Turkey.

📋 Description

• Develop the product strategy for a period of 4 to 12 weeks, outlining clear milestones and success metrics.

• Serve as the ultimate decision-maker for the roadmap, assessing each feature based on its revenue potential and growth opportunities.

• Perform comprehensive competitor analysis (including Opus Clip, Descript, Submagic) to ensure that VidRush retains its status as a "category-defining" leader.

• Ensure precise Product Requirement Documents: Take charge of refining all PRDs, making certain that each specification includes acceptance criteria, edge cases, and a clear delineation of frontend and backend responsibilities to eliminate uncertainty for developers.

• Master Jira: Manage backlog maintenance and sprint planning. Transition from merely "moving tickets" to utilizing velocity data to enhance delivery predictability.

• Design Processes: Implement streamlined rituals (such as two-pass syncs and asynchronous notes) that function effectively across different time zones.

• Structure unpredictable AI experimentation through time-boxed "spikes."

• Connect R&D exploration with product implementation, ensuring that research aligns with business objectives instead of pursuing every emerging model trend.

• Oversee and mentor the current PM team (Nayana + Project Manager).

• Act as the "First Line of Defense" against scope creep, pushing back on unwise ideas—even from the CEO—to safeguard team productivity.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 7 years of experience in Product Management, ideally within a high-growth startup (such as YC-backed, Series A+, or leading Turkish tech companies like Peak, Dream Games, or Getir).

• AI Literacy: You should grasp the intricacies of working with non-deterministic systems (LLMs/Generative AI) and understand their implications for roadmap planning.

• Technical Writing: You take pride in your documentation skills, ensuring that your requirements are devoid of any ambiguity.

• Execution-Oriented: You possess a "Bias to Action," favoring completed features over meticulously crafted presentations.

• Customer-Centric: You are willing to engage on Discord or participate in calls with power users to transform chaotic feedback into practical insights.

• Communication Skills: You are direct, candid, and persuasive, effectively aligning stakeholders without generating friction.
