This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta.
• Articulate and convey a distinct vision, strategy, and roadmap for the platform that aligns with the company's objectives.
• Take full ownership from conceptualization through to implementation.
• Establish frameworks for ownership, processes, and prioritization of platform initiatives, ensuring prioritization is driven by business, product, and technical requirements.
• Lead the development of the platform function, including future hiring decisions and the design of team structure, with a well-defined team structure and growth plan established within the first year.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and executive leadership to ensure cross-functional alignment and effective planning.
• Guarantee that the platform facilitates product scalability, reliability, and a sustainable technical direction—substantially reducing delivery obstacles within the initial 6 months and achieving notable enhancements in delivery speed, reliability, and scalability over time.
• Represent the platform function at the leadership level and actively contribute to the broader company strategy, ensuring the platform is recognized as a strategic driver of product growth throughout the organization.
• Extensive expertise in iGaming platform systems, encompassing PAM (Player Account Management), Game Aggregation, Bonus Engine, KYC and compliance processes, Payments and transaction processing, and Player information and data management.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing a platform, infrastructure, or technical product function.
• Sufficient understanding of software architecture, infrastructure, and platform engineering to engage effectively with Engineering and make informed prioritization choices.
• A proactive mindset, ready to get involved and contribute directly while maintaining a long-term perspective.
• A proven history of building, shaping, and developing teams from the ground up.
• Experience in defining strategy and achieving results across multiple teams and stakeholder groups.
• Strong stakeholder management abilities at both executive and cross-functional levels.
• Exceptional communication skills with the capability to influence at all organizational levels.
