Head of Product, Payments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Cyprus.

📋 Description

• Assume responsibility for the product vision of an internal payment platform.

• Lead initiatives focused on optimizing the checkout process, including experimentation and enhancing conversion rates.

• Continue developing the internal payment platform to fulfill company and business requirements.

• Establish product timelines and objectives.

• Formulate initiatives and reach agreements on cross-functional targets.

• Develop product plans and roadmaps in collaboration with senior management and colleagues.

• Execute the product strategy and roadmap.

• Oversee product launch planning and set expectations for the rollout of new features.

• Foster a data-driven culture, from evaluating ideas to monitoring feature performance.

• Unite other product and cross-functional teams to achieve the desired outcomes.

• Assess market competition by comparing company products with those of competitors.

• Introduce new complementary products to enhance the core platform's capabilities.

• Communicate product modifications to all company stakeholders.

• Coordinate integrations and launches with payment providers.

• Lead a team of Payment Product Managers to drive results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in building payment platforms is essential.

• Familiarity with obtaining PCI DSS certification and extensive knowledge of recurring payments and billing systems is advantageous.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management within fast-paced and agile environments.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, marketers, analysts, and more.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence managers and other teams.

• Strong business acumen and a genuine enthusiasm for leveraging data to inform decision-making.
