Head of Product Design

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• You will join a rapidly growing product that requires strong design leadership, sound judgment, and structured guidance.

• Your role will span across customer-facing products and internal tools.

• You will be responsible for creating a design system from the ground up, integrating genuine design thinking into our internal clinical dashboard.

• The redesign of internal tools will be centered around the needs of the users who interact with them daily.

• From day one, you will lead our existing team of 2 product designers and expand the team as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Design obsession: You have an eye for the tiniest inconsistencies, believe that simplicity is beautiful, and can anticipate minor UX challenges.

• Management experience: You have previously managed designers directly, rather than merely coordinating with them.

• Cross-platform experience: You have designed for various platforms, including web, mobile, and internal tools.

• Zero-to-one experience: You have previously built a product or design system from scratch.

• Hands-on capability: You still take pleasure in the design process.

• UX research ownership: You have taken charge of research initiatives beyond merely conducting occasional user interviews.

• Copy and content design: You have collaborated closely with copy or have taken full ownership of it yourself.
