Head of Product

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take full responsibility for 0-to-1 launches from start to finish: convert research agendas into product specifications, user journeys, success metrics, and launch strategies.

• Oversee the Foundation’s product function, including strategy, roadmap, and priorities. You will lead the Agents & Evaluation product team.

• Serve as the Foundation’s key product liaison to Sentient Labs’ research and product teams. You will interpret their research into Foundation products and synchronize roadmaps between both organizations.

• Transform technical efforts into user-friendly products, such as documentation, demonstrations, benchmarks, leaderboards, blog articles, and developer workflows.

• Manage developer-focused initiatives: public challenges, competitions, hackathons, cohorts, and launches supported by partners.

• Create feedback channels from developers, researchers, partners, and open-source contributors back into the product roadmap.

• Define product strategy for emerging categories, including agent evaluation and open-source AI distribution.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of product experience in AI/ML, developer platforms, infrastructure, or technical tools, with experience leading a product team or managing a product function.

• Proven experience in leadership and functioning as a senior partner across organizations. You will oversee a function, mentor PMs, and collaborate with research and engineering leaders.

• A successful history of delivering complex 0-to-1 products in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

• Practical knowledge of LLMs, AI agents, evaluations, benchmarking, or model deployment processes. A technical background is necessary to discuss trade-offs with researchers and engineers.

• Outstanding communication skills: you can distill complex technical content into product narratives that are engaging for developers and partners.

• Strong sense of ownership and urgency; adept at being the connective link among various stakeholders.
