This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan.
• Take charge of the complete procurement process for components and goods essential for global manufacturing operations.
• Guarantee comprehensive coverage of manufacturing programs (E2E) with materials across all production facilities.
• Establish and propel a global procurement and material management strategy, which includes a well-defined roadmap for sourcing and cost optimization initiatives.
• Lead and oversee the logistics function in close coordination with procurement and production teams.
• Manage the planning function, ensuring precise alignment between demand and supply.
• Direct supplier negotiations that encompass pricing, terms, capacity, and the establishment of long-term partnerships.
• Facilitate problem-solving with suppliers, ensuring swift resolution of risks and mitigation of supply issues.
• Take responsibility for cost performance and essential procurement KPIs, focusing on savings, improvement of payment terms, and cost optimization without sacrificing quality.
• Supervise the contract management framework with strategic suppliers, ensuring alignment in commercial, legal, and operational aspects.
• Manage supplier sourcing, qualification, and long-term development strategies to meet global manufacturing requirements.
• Lead, nurture, and expand a material management organization consisting of 30 or more team members.
• Propel software development, automation, and digital tools to enhance procurement, planning, and material flow processes.
• Ensure an optimal balance of availability, timing, cost, and quality across the international supply chain.
• Demonstrated experience in procurement or material management within a global manufacturing context.
• Proven capability in leading large, cross-functional teams (30 or more individuals) in intricate global settings.
• Direct oversight of a procurement budget exceeding €200M.
• In-depth knowledge of end-to-end supply chains, planning, and global supplier ecosystems.
• Strong commercial and financial insight, including cost ownership and budget oversight.
• Exceptional negotiation skills with global suppliers and strategic partners.
• High degree of ownership and accountability.
• Familiarity with GTD (Getting Things Done) or other execution-focused management methodologies.
• Proficiency in English.
• Openness to extensive travel as part of a global position.
• A strategic leadership role offering complete ownership of end-to-end material supply across all Ajax factories globally.
• Direct influence on production continuity, cost efficiency, and the resilience of the supply chain.
