This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Formulate and implement the UK On Trade strategy aligned with the company's growth goals.
• Take ownership of channel revenue, profit, and performance targets, ensuring achievement of annual budgets and long-term business objectives.
• Discover and unlock new prospects within national and regional On Trade customers.
• Develop strategic account plans that enhance distribution, sales rate, and brand visibility.
• Cultivate senior-level relationships with key On Trade groups, wholesalers, and distribution partners.
• Lead commercial negotiations with national clients and establish mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Collaborate with customers to create category growth plans and compelling consumer propositions.
• Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing On Trade team.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Coach and support team members in enhancing performance, career development, and succession planning.
• Partner with Marketing and Customer Marketing teams to implement impactful activation plans.
• Drive premiumization opportunities across sparkling wine, still wine, and emerging categories.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Oversee annual planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes for the On Trade channel.
• Utilize data and insights to inform strategic decision-making and customer recommendations.
• Collaborate closely with Finance and Supply Chain to maximize profitability and service levels.
• Serve as the internal advocate for the On Trade channel throughout the broader organization.
• Support strategic commercial projects and broader business initiatives.
• Represent Freixenet Copestick at industry events, client meetings, and trade exhibitions.
• Proven experience in a senior commercial leadership position within the drinks, wine, FMCG, or hospitality sectors.
• Strong knowledge of the UK On Trade landscape, including national groups, wholesalers, and market entry strategies.
• Demonstrated success in achieving profitable growth and establishing strategic customer relationships.
• Experience in leading, developing, and inspiring high-performing teams.
• Strong commercial insight with excellent negotiation and influencing abilities.
• Proficient in using data and insights to spot opportunities and translate them into actionable plans.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-oriented approach.
