Head of New Business

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of new business revenue for JUICE.

• Conduct discovery calls, tailor pitches for each brand, draft and present proposals, negotiate terms, and finalize deals.

• Market monthly retainers to e-commerce and consumer brands.

• Utilize the qualified pipeline established by the BD operations lead and enhance it through personal networking.

• Maintain up-to-date pipeline stages, values, and next steps.

• Review the pipeline during weekly meetings with the ONAR leadership team.

• Provide market insights to inform targeting, pitches, and creative strategies.

• Aim for approximately 20 discovery calls each month, 8 proposals, and secure at least 2 signed clients at or above the engagement floor.

• Achieve a first close within the initial 90 days.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience selling agency retainers.

• Ideally, experience in selling monthly retainers ranging from $5K to $25K at a performance or digital marketing agency.

• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

• Established network within the e-commerce, DTC, or consumer brand sectors.

• Ability to connect with founders or CMOs and establish credibility.

• Discovery-led sales methodology, including a solid understanding of margins, lifetime value (LTV), and channel mix.

• Comfort with a commission-heavy compensation structure and unlimited earnings potential.

• Proficient with modern sales tools.

• Openness to utilizing AI on a daily basis.

• Submit a resume along with a brief note answering: “What’s the largest retainer you’ve ever sold, and how did you win it?”
