Head of Functional Consulting – SAP Life Sciences

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop a global team of SAP Functional Consultants and Team Leads.

• Define and implement the global Functional Consulting strategy.

• Drive growth within the organization, develop capabilities, and plan for succession.

• Establish governance for delivery, quality standards, methodologies, and best practices.

• Ensure the successful execution of complex SAP implementation projects on a global scale.

• Collaborate with Sales during strategic customer engagements and pre-sales initiatives.

• Work closely with Product Management, Development, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership.

• Monitor consulting KPIs, including utilization, profitability, customer satisfaction, and project health.

• Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Significant leadership experience in SAP Consulting organizations.

• Strong foundation in SAP Functional Consulting.

• Proven track record of leading international consulting teams.

• Experience in developing consulting organizations and delivery frameworks.

• Excellent skills in stakeholder management and executive communication.

• Strong commercial awareness along with a customer-centric approach.

• Experience in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, or other regulated industries.

• NICE TO HAVE: SAP Certification.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformations.

• Experience in scaling consulting organizations on a global level.

• Background in regulated industries.
