Head of Frontend Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Take responsibility for the architectural integrity of the current frontend ecosystem across various B2C casino brands.

• Spearhead the development of a scalable, high-performance B2B casino platform from the ground up using SvelteKit.

• Ensure the maintenance of innovative, secure, and rapid B2C brands while concurrently developing the B2B platform.

• Influence architectural choices, establish best practices, and perform thorough code evaluations.

• Mentor, manage, and motivate a distributed remote team of 20–25 frontend engineers, including Team Leads and Senior Developers.

• Promote accountability, high performance, continuous learning, and psychological safety within the team.

• Advocate for AI integration.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, Backend, and DevOps teams to translate business needs into real-time user experiences.

• Report directly to the CTO.

⛳️ Requirements

• Outstanding expertise in JavaScript, React, and modern cloud infrastructure (AWS).

• Experience with SvelteKit is a significant advantage.

• Proven experience in managing remote frontend teams of 20–25 engineers, preferably through leadership roles.

• Capability to optimize React applications for low-latency, real-time data updates, and handling high traffic volumes.

• Strong grasp of frontend application deployment and scaling within AWS, including CloudFront, S3, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Previous experience in the iGaming/Casino industry is beneficial.

• Proficient in keeping a large, distributed team aligned, motivated, and effectively communicating across different time zones.
