Head of Event – EMEA

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Oversee comprehensive project management for the event, ensuring a detailed project plan that aligns with the One Event Plan (OEP) framework.

• Foster effective communication among teams and stakeholders to guarantee seamless coordination, alignment across departments, and successful execution.

• Serve as SailGP’s representative in the market, overseeing all local stakeholder relationships and responsibilities as outlined in the Host Venue Agreement.

• Ensure cohesive alignment and collaboration between the specialized Infrastructure and Operations teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in large-scale event planning, staging, and operations, ideally within an international or high-performance sports context.

• Excellent leadership abilities, along with strong skills in stakeholder management and cross-functional project coordination.

• Direct experience in managing complex event budgets, showcasing a proven record of commercial accountability.

• Capability to excel under pressure and effectively manage complex, fast-paced live event scenarios.
