Head of Engineering – Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Product: Convert product objectives into actionable, outcome-oriented technical strategies.

• Lead technical direction across various initiatives: oversee design, assess trade-offs, drive platform development, and ensure system integrity.

• Own architecture: establish clear technical patterns and frameworks that harmonize speed with maintainability.

• Serve as an escalation point for engineers: assist teams in addressing complex technical challenges.

• Elevate engineering quality: enhance testing, CI/CD, release practices, observability, and performance.

• Drive operational excellence: spearhead incident response, security enhancements, and reliability assessments.

• Promote AI transformation in engineering: aid the team in effectively leveraging AI tools throughout the SDLC.

• Foster the technical growth of teams: mentor technical leads and senior engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in cloud architecture (AWS preferred): including scaling, load balancing, messaging, caching, and deployment automation.

• In-depth experience with C# / .NET and Angular; familiarity with PostgreSQL and Azure SQL is beneficial.

• Demonstrated technical leadership – you have led multiple teams as a Tech Lead, Lead Engineer, or in a comparable position.

• Experience in developing AI-driven products and features is a significant advantage.

• Full SDLC ownership: from design and CI/CD to monitoring and incident management.

• Understanding of CRM or ERP workflows and the limitations of mission-critical business applications.
