This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.
• Define and manage the global commercial strategy for PeopleCert’s DevOps product line.
• Develop and sustain relationships with corporations, training organizations, and professional associations.
• Propel revenue growth through sales strategies focused on targets and partnership development.
• Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Partner teams on go-to-market strategies.
• Act as a representative for PeopleCert at industry events, conferences, and trade shows related to DevOps.
• Keep track of market trends, competitor actions, and customer demands.
• Provide forecasts, reports, and insights to senior management.
• Mentor and guide a commercial team to meet their goals and objectives.
• Ensure alignment of work and presence with PeopleCert’s core values.
• Lead the global commercial expansion of the DevOps portfolio and implement the commercial roadmap.
• Forge partnerships with corporations and training providers to enhance international market adoption.
• Post-graduate degree in IT, Business, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
• 12–15 years of experience in business development, commercial leadership, or strategic partnerships within the IT consulting, technology, or certification sectors.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps principles, practices, and certifications.
• Proven track record in successfully driving revenue growth and expanding into international markets.
• Expertise in channel development, partnership strategy, consultative selling, and strategic account management.
• Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills with senior executives and cross-functional teams across diverse cultures.
• Previous experience in Education, Consulting, Examination/Certification, or Technology sectors will be advantageous.
• Excellent command of the English language (C2 level certification preferred; LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL is a plus).
• Advanced computer skills are required.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar software will be considered an asset.
• ECDL Advanced certification is desirable.
• For SELT work, completion of relevant background checks and declarations is necessary; additional right-to-work, security, financial, and employment reference checks may be required in the UK.
• For SELT work outside the UK, equivalent background checks are applicable; personnel communicating with candidates must possess appropriate English skills and, where relevant, the official language of the respective country.
