This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Design and implement OpenClaw's comprehensive global developer relations strategy.
• Cultivate and sustain a dynamic community of developers, contributors, researchers, startups, and partners.
• Create initiatives that promote community engagement, contributions, and the growth of the ecosystem.
• Develop pathways for developers to evolve into long-term contributors and leaders within the OpenClaw ecosystem.
• Forge partnerships with AI labs, startups, infrastructure providers, universities, and research institutions.
• Act as a public ambassador for OpenClaw at conferences, meetups, podcasts, webinars, and industry events.
• Produce technical materials including demos, tutorials, workshops, presentations, videos, blog entries, and educational resources.
• Simplify complex technical ideas into engaging narratives for developers and builders.
• Gather community insights and advocate for developer needs and priorities within the organization.
• Oversee the onboarding experiences and educational resources for developers.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance documentation, SDKs, APIs, examples, and tutorials.
• Develop educational programs that enable developers to effectively deploy and extend OpenClaw.
• Create technical curricula, certification programs, workshops, and community training initiatives.
• Enhance workflows and onboarding processes for open source contributors.
• Provide support to maintainers and community contributors on Foundation projects.
• Establish systems for recognizing and rewarding community contributions.
• Promote a welcoming, inclusive, and collaborative culture within the open source community.
• Lead OpenClaw's representation at developer conferences and industry events.
• Collaborate closely with the Foundation's Events team to shape technical programming, workshops, hackathons, and community gatherings.
• Assist in positioning OpenClaw as a leading voice in open source AI and agent interoperability.
• Build strategic alliances with ecosystem partners to accelerate adoption and foster community growth.
• Over 8 years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, Community, Product Marketing, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Proven track record in building and scaling developer communities.
• Strong technical expertise with the ability to engage credibly with engineers, researchers, and technical founders.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Demonstrated experience in crafting technical content that developers find genuinely valuable.
• Experience presenting at conferences, meetups, webinars, or public events.
• Deep understanding of open source software communities and contributor ecosystems.
• Ability to work independently and excel in fast-paced, uncertain environments.
• Enthusiasm for AI, developer platforms, open source software, and emerging technologies.
