This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
β’ Assume accountability for the successful execution of the project portfolio, ensuring quality, cost efficiency, and adherence to timelines across all initiatives.
β’ Lead and enhance the Construction Management department, including management of warranties.
β’ Proactively oversee resource allocation and capacity management.
β’ Administer projects from a commercial perspective, monitoring budgets, cost estimates, risks, and overall project performance.
β’ Continue to refine processes, standards, and methodologies in Construction Management.
β’ Ensure the delivery of projects is both efficient and of high quality.
β’ Encourage collaboration among internal departments, clients, and external partners.
β’ Navigate complex project situations effectively.
β’ Collaborate with the Director of Development to expand the service offerings.
β’ Assist in the estimation and acquisition of new projects.
β’ A completed degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction management, or a related qualification is required.
β’ Several years of professional experience in project management, construction supervision, or Construction Management are essential.
β’ Extensive background in new construction projects and/or the renovation and conversion of existing structures.
β’ Several years of leadership experience in construction, planning, or real estate are necessary.
β’ Comprehensive knowledge of construction and contract law, specifically HOAI, VOB, and AHO.
β’ Awareness of relevant standards and regulations is required.
β’ Strong commercial acumen is essential.
β’ Proficient in managing budgets, cost estimates, project controlling, and commercial project risks.
β’ An entrepreneurial, structured, and solution-oriented mindset and approach are necessary.
β’ Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, along with strong decision-making abilities.
