This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Take ownership of the maturity model, which includes the rubric, scoring methodology, evidence standards, appeals process, team assessments, and written improvement strategies.
• Facilitate assessments with department leaders and translate them into commitments with designated owners and deadlines.
• Establish standards for work tracking, decision proposals, resolutions, shared tools, and the retirement of documentation.
• Enhance decision-making processes by defining stages, exit criteria, and closure mechanisms.
• Conduct automated weekly reports, blockers-and-decisions meetings, monthly leadership reviews, and quarterly presentations for the board.
• Eliminate meetings that can be substituted with reports.
• Oversee private assessment rollouts followed by predetermined public transparency timelines.
• Integrate standards into the onboarding process.
• Recruit, develop, evaluate, and guide two senior individual contributors focused on platform and enablement.
• Quantify and publish the volume of coordination work handled by agents in comparison to the costs associated with a human program office.
• Develop an AI-native internal operating system and facilitate AI operations across Supabase.
• Proven experience managing operational cadence and program discipline within a company of approximately 200–800 employees in a remote and asynchronous environment.
• Demonstrated capability in creating agentic AI workflows relied upon by others.
• Ability to review agent workflow definitions, data models, and pull requests to ensure quality.
• Experience in driving a standard from inception to company-wide implementation without direct authority over those adopting it.
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to utilize documents as enforcement tools.
• Comfortable being assessed publicly by the system developed.
• Experience in executing a maturity model or capability assessment across teams not directly supervised.
• Proficiency in Git, Markdown, and pull requests.
• Experience in permanently replacing recurring meetings with automated systems.
• A strong software engineering background is advantageous but not mandatory.
