This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Formulate and implement the long-term strategy for agency growth, profitability, and market expansion.
• Motivate and guide a nationwide field organization committed to achieving outstanding results.
• Attract, develop, and retain top-tier agency owners, producers, and field leaders.
• Enhance agency productivity through coaching, sales enablement, technology, and contemporary distribution strategies.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Finance, Claims, Service, Human Resources, and Operations to deliver an exceptional experience for agents and customers.
• Broaden Horace Mann's footprint within schools, districts, education associations, and local communities.
• Spearhead innovative initiatives that improve digital selling, lead generation, and agency performance.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Extensive senior leadership experience managing large-scale agency or field sales organizations within the insurance or financial services sectors.
• A demonstrated history of enhancing agency distribution through effective recruiting, retention, productivity, and sales performance.
• Experience in overseeing multi-line insurance businesses, including Property & Casualty, Life, Retirement, and Supplemental products.
• Strong business acumen with a background in managing revenue growth, profitability, incentive programs, and sales strategy.
• Proven success in building high-performing leadership teams and nurturing future leaders.
• Experience in leading organizational transformation, digital enablement, and innovative distribution strategies.
• Exceptional skills in communication, collaboration, and relationship-building.
• A bachelor's degree (MBA or advanced degree preferred). Insurance and securities licensing is advantageous.
