HCM / Payroll Solution Design Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Act as the design lead on the client side for HCM and Payroll, collaborating closely with System Integrators and client teams to establish, govern, and ensure the integrity of end-to-end solution design within Oracle Cloud ERP projects.

• Guarantee that the implemented solution satisfies all agreed-upon business, statutory, and payroll requirements.

• Adhere to Oracle Cloud best practices and design principles, ensuring that the solution remains sustainable, scalable, and supportable after going live.

• Provide subject matter expertise across various modules including Core HR, Payroll, Absence, Learn, Performance, and OTL.

• Convert complex design considerations into clear, business-friendly solutions for stakeholders.

• Analyze business requirements and transform them into system configurations, designs, and functional specifications.

• Lead or assist in solution design workshops that align with best practices, statutory reporting requirements, and organizational controls.

• Collaborate with HR/Payroll leadership, operational stakeholders, and program teams to ensure that design decisions align with business needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as an HCM / Payroll Solution Design Architect or Functional Project Manager on large-scale Oracle Cloud SaaS implementations, preferably within the public sector.

• In-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM, ERP, Payroll, Procurement, and EPM applications.

• Strong comprehension of HR and Payroll business processes, especially in a public sector environment.

• Experience in security design that aligns with local government standards.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with a talent for clearly articulating solutions to diverse stakeholders.

• Experience in advising Design Authority and client teams, and the confidence to challenge System Integrator design when necessary.
