HCM Account Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Identify and cultivate business sales relationships with prospective clients

• Finalize new and expanded sales agreements

• Consistently generate new business opportunities

• Arrange and deliver presentations of Paylocity services to potential clients

• Create and present proposals, providing follow-up support throughout the sales process

• Organize and complete necessary client documentation for transitioning to the Paylocity system

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client transitions

• Generate leads through telemarketing, referrals, professional and personal networks, and other avenues

• Establish and nurture relationships within the Broker channel and with other referral sources

• Maintain communication with current customers to assess needs for additional services

• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote Paylocity services

• Achieve or surpass quarterly and annual sales targets for the designated territory

• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory

• College degree is highly preferred

• 3–5 years of experience in a sales role

• Ability to thrive in a competitive landscape

• Capacity to maintain high standards of activity

• Demonstrated history of sales achievements

• Critical thinking and decision-making abilities to address objections and unforeseen circumstances throughout the sales process

• Strong customer service orientation

• Excellent presentation skills

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational and time management capabilities

• Proficient in MS Office applications and Internet navigation

• Mobility required for sitting, standing, walking, and driving to potential client locations

• Manual dexterity in both hands for operating a computer keyboard and handling small objects

• Sensory abilities to see, hear, and touch

• Mental effort required for reading, writing, visualization, calculation, and analysis
