HCM Account Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Identify and create new business opportunities leveraging the company’s expertise, industry profile, and knowledge.

• Schedule and deliver presentations of Paylocity services to potential clients.

• Prepare and present proposals while providing ongoing support throughout the sales process.

• Organize, complete, and gather necessary documentation to transition clients to the Paylocity system.

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure a seamless client onboarding experience.

• Cultivate prospects through telemarketing, referrals, personal and professional networks, and various other channels.

• Establish and nurture relationships within the Broker channel and with additional referral sources.

• Maintain communication with current customers to assess needs for additional services.

• Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote Paylocity services.

• Achieve or surpass quarterly and annual sales targets for the designated territory.

• Execute other responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• A college degree is strongly preferred.

• 3–5 years of experience in a sales role.

• Capability to thrive in a competitive environment.

• Ability to uphold high activity standards.

• Demonstrated history of sales success.

• Critical thinking and decision-making abilities to manage objections and unforeseen circumstances throughout the sales cycle.

• Customer service orientation.

• Excellent presentation skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Effective organizational and time management skills.

• Proficient in MS Office applications and the Internet.

• Availability for work five days a week during designated hours.

• Mobility is required for sitting, standing, walking, and driving to prospective client locations.

• Manual dexterity is necessary in both hands for operating a computer keyboard and handling small objects.

• Sensory abilities required for seeing, hearing, and touching.

• Mental effort needed for reading, writing, visualization, calculation, and analysis.
