HCC Coding Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Louisiana, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Conducts HCC coding for projects related to MA, ACA, and End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD)

• Operates independently across various coding software

• Complies with CMS Guidelines for Coding and adheres to Highmark’s Policies and Procedures

• Ensures accuracy and meets productivity standards for RPM coding

• Supports Regulatory Audits by executing the initial coding review

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in HCC coding and/or coding and billing

• Certification as a Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Risk Coder (CRC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)

• Strong attention to detail

• Proficient in HCC Coding

• Skilled in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and the Microsoft Office Suite
