Hardware Product Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of the hospitality or retail hardware portfolio from start to finish—encompassing what we offer, the locations we operate in, and its evolution over time (launch → scale → lifecycle management → retirement).

• Develop and execute a multi-quarter roadmap that aligns with the overarching Hardware strategy, managing dependencies, and ensuring delivery of measurable results.

• Spearhead new initiatives throughout their entire lifecycle: discovery → PRDs/requirements → vendor selection → validation/testing → launch → iteration and in-field support.

• Collaborate with merchants (owners/managers/staff) to identify workflow challenges and convert insights into roadmap priorities.

• Ensure supplier accountability across features, quality, costs, and lead times, utilizing field signals (RMAs/tickets) to implement corrective actions.

• Influence and lead teams across Product, Design, Hardware Ops, Support, GTM, Finance, and Legal to ensure smooth launches and enhance portfolio profitability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years experience as a Product Manager in a hardware or hardware-enabled SaaS environment (devices/peripherals/accessories), with at least 1–2 end-to-end launches successfully delivered.

• Proven track record of managing the complete hardware lifecycle: Discovery → Requirements → Selection → Testing → Launch → Iteration → Deprecation.

• Hands-on experience with Hospitality workflows: Payments, POS, Mobile POS, Kitchen Display Systems, Kiosks, Networking.

• Strong cross-functional leadership skills across Product, Design, Ops/Supply Chain, Support, and GTM.
